Homework for March 12th

Using Illustrator/Photoshop/or any other progams create two book covers  for the Roane Writer's Group.

Design brief:
1.  The book will be 8 5/8" X 5 1/2".   The spine will be approximately 1/4" wide. (make sure to create a 1/4" bleed around the book)


2. There will be writing on the outside of the back cover The title will be:
"Read our words - Hear our voice"


3. The rest of the words on the front cover will stay essentially the same as the previous edition, but Fall 2010 will change to Fall 2011; and Second annual will change to Third  annual Student Writing Contest.  (See image below.)


Concept 1 should include:  a flying bird, with trailing loose feathers leading to a quill and a writing hand 

Concept 2 should be something based upon the title of the book to submit to image that conveys:  "Read our words - Hear our voice"
